Killing Eve star Jodie Comer has revealed that fans ask her to strangle them as they pose for selfies.
Speaking on Friday’s Graham Norton show the actress, 26, recalled some of the most extreme reactions from die-hard fans who recognised her from the show, with one even asking her to mimic Villanelle’s murderous ways.
It came as Jodie also told Graham that there’s ‘a lot more pressure’ on the second series of the BBC assassin drama, which has already been praised by fans following its premiere in the US.

Keep it classic in a black jumpsuit from Stella McCartney like Jodie
A LBD is a total classic – we love it because we don’t have to think about putting together an outfit and we automatically look good. But it can be a bit boring at times. So we have the perfect alternative: the (little) black jumpsuit!
Styled by Elizabeth Saltzman, Jodie Comer is wearing a black bardot jumpsuit from Stella McCartney. This classic piece is beautifully timeless and we are absolutely loving it.
The bardot neckline is uber feminine, while the short sleeves have an embellished tassel detail which adds a little something extra to this piece.
Pair this with drop earrings like Jodie – she is wearing Kirstie Le Marque angel wings earrings that you can shop below – to complete the look.

As she spoke about Killing Eve’s worldwide success, Jodie told Graham that even she’s been stunned by fans’ extreme reactions after meeting her off-screen.
She said: ‘It’s been a good year! A lot of people just look at me in a ‘Is it her’ sort of way, but recently I had a really strange one – a woman asked for a photograph with me and then she whispered in my ear, ”Will you strangle me?” I said, ”No!”’
Jodie then went on to speak about the new series – which is yet to begin airing in the UK – and said fans have had high expectations for the show.

Killing Eve explores the obsessive relationship between MI5 agent Eve (played by Sandra Oh) and a psychotic and supremely stylish Paris-based assassin named Villanelle.
Eve knows she must catch the chameleon-like killer before there’s another murder but finds herself becoming more fascinated by the beautiful Villanelle – all the time knowing she could be her next victim.
A teaser recently revealed that fans will see more Villanelle’s incredible array of disguises in Series Two, as well as plenty of death, drama and passion.
Killing Eve returns to the UK on BBC later this year. It is currently airing on Sundays on BBC America in the US.
The Graham Norton Show airs on Friday 19th April at 10:30pm on BBC One.
